Black Tie

I dug up some old Basic Grey Black Tie dp. Used my oval nestie and swiss dot cuttle bug to create this black white and a little red card for Cindy's color challenge on Stamp TV.

Simply black and white

I made this card for the Monday color challenge on Stamptv. The challenge was to make a card using black and white and a touch of another color. I went for the black and white pandas. The card is 5 x 5 Stampin Up white cardstock. I used my square nesties to make the squares. I then used my score-pal to frame the center image. It is supposed to hit 90 degrees today. How did we go from winter to summer in less than a week's time. Well enjoy the heat or stay cool!

I am going to send this card, to my niece, Melissa, for her 16th birthday.

It's summer!

My Lia Sophia Party was a huge success. I am getting about $600 in free jewelry. Plenty of gifts for everyone! It is supposed to be 80 today. Yikes I am so white, but I need to sun this pale body of mine! Enjoy this summer weather.

Pink Elephant

I have been doing a lot of cards with elephants lately. This one used the baby wipe technique to create the background. I used my nestabilities for the ovals. Today is supposed to be warm and sunny. Hurray. I am hoping to get out and golf and then tonight is my Lia Sophia Party.

Cooper and the Raccoon

I decided to give Cooper one of his many new toys. I was cleaning out the pantry and dumped all his toys out and asked him which ones he wanted to keep. He wanted all of them and sat down on top of them. I pulled out a new stuffed raccoon still on the cardboard. Of course, the cardboard is his favorite part. I think the raccoon may be his favorite toy of the moment. He still loves his original bunny or whats left of it!

On vacation

Monday morning, and I can leisurely have my coffee, browse the internet, check out Stamptv and keep up with the challenges. I only completed two of the challenges for last week: Monday's color challenge and Wednesday's baby wipe technique. I am hoping to finish last week's challenges and keep on top of this week's challenges. I am playing tennis today. I hope the weather holds out this week for golf as well. Enjoy your Monday

Cooper's bath

Cooper has a big day today. I promised that I would take him to the grand opening of One Stop Country Pets. He has really been looking forward to going. He was invited to Don and Kathy's tonight so he had to get all spiffed up. Enjoy your Saturday!

TGIF

Yes it's Friday, thank goodness. I need a break and I am looking forward to playing golf at 3:30 this afternoon. I will have more time this week to work on my Stamptv challenges. However I did win yesterday, again. I can't believe it. I did submit three cards for the sketch challenge. I loved the sketch and enjoyed making the cards. However, my least favorite card was the one that was picked.

Orange and red

I made this card for the orange and red color challenge. I found this paper from Close to My Heart, which had the right colors plus a sage green. After I stamped the flower and colored it, I relaized I should have done it on ivory paper. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Today is supposed to be glorious. Great we have a staff meeting. I guess I will have to enjoy the day through the window! Hope you get some fresh air and enjoy the sunshine!

Wacky Word Wednesday

Well Yesterday, was my first day of the season to play golf. Teed off beautifully on the first hole. That is always a good start. Did not know that I had book group that night, made a brief appearance to say hi, but since I did not read the last two books, I really could not contribute to the group discussion. Rushed home to finish putting this card together for the Monday Stamptv challenge, which was to use red and orange. Have you filed your taxes? Have a wacky Wednesday!

Post Easter Sunday Dinner

Cooper was exhausted after all his company left on Easter Sunday. He had a lot of his cousins over: Sully, Sofi, Shadow and Caos. He is still exhausted and is resting up.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter. Today I will be hosting Easter dinner at my house. I am expecting 12 adults and five dogs. Ok, two years ago four legged creatures were not allowed to cross my threshold. Now, every time I leave my house I notice I am covered in doggy fur. As much as I vacuum there are traces of dog hair all over. Not to mention, all the dog toys all over the house. As my children will tell you, they weren't allowed toys that made noise or were messy. Cooper has far more toys than my children had during their entire childhood. Well, I could say at least he doesn't talk back to me, but he does! Whether you are with human, animals birds or the bees Happy Easter!

Peachy Keene

It's Friday and I am looking forward to the weekend. I still haven't exactly planned the dinner menu for Easter, but I am sure it will come to me. Another sketch challenge for StampTV: I actually colored the white paper flower with my Copic marker to match the colored stamped flowers. Enjoy your Friday!

More Pink

I keep hoping that if I use spring colors, it will become spring. The rain washed away a lot of the snow, that's a good thing. i can almost see all of my backyard, except for the snow plowed mountain, now a hill.

I made this card for the pink and green color challenge.
Still working on coloring with the Copic markers. Yesterday was freezing. I hope it warms up today! What happened to spring?

Purple tulips

After I submitted this card for a potluck challenge on StampTV that had to do with spring, I realized I must have been too tired when I did this one. Although I tried masking the tulips to create depth, I have a stem from nowhere. Oh well. I shouldn't have gone for purple either. Still working on shading, too. Next card will be much better. Check back for my pink rose. Have a great Tuesday. I sure hope it warms up and stops raining!

Spa Day

Yesterday, we celebrated Jana's birthday at the spa. Pictured left to right: Alexis, Joni, Jana and Jenn. Keep in mind although we are glowing and happy, we have not done our hair, nor put on makeup prior to our spa treatments. Although the robes are comfy, they are certainly not flattering. We all had a wonderful time, but the day went way way too fast!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today is Jana's 29th birthday! How did that happen. I'm only 25. Happy Birthday J, Mama loves you.
