Sunny Saturday

The sun is finally shining. I made this card using Gina K's Elegant Flower stamp set and the new Basic Grey Wisteria dp. I just love this paper! Off to mail Jana's baby shower invites, tennis, need to buy some ant stuff for the lawn and then I have to sell tickets at my school's Circesta. I hope I can squeeze in a round of golf too. Enjoy this beautiful day!

TGIF

I hope it stops raining soon. The roof is looking great! I could use some sunshine, although our backyard is now thoroughly watered. I'm sure the seagulls will be landing...

Guiding Light

Wet, wainy, Wednesday. Well, we are getting the rain we had hoped for a few days ago, when are backyard was seeded. However, yesterday the roof was started and of course a section is out in the open! Good thing we bought some big umbrellas for the house! This is a card that I made for a Stamptv challenge, using patterns and textures! Stay dry today!

Cool Blues and Greens

I made this for the Monday color challenge on StampTv. Last week was a busy week and I was only able to get one challenge card finished. I am hoping to get more done this week. The challenge was to use blues and greens. I just got Basic Grey Wisteria designer paper and it is gorgeous so I just had to make a card with it. Happy Tuesday.

Memorial Day

Cooper went to the groomers on Friday. He looks so handsome! Top is a picture of him last night. He was exhausted after his boat ride around the lake.

Backyard under Construction

All this for Cooper: Work has begun on our backyard. The loam and hardpack have been spread. Today we will get grass seed and hay. I will keep updating as our new lawn comes in (I hope)!

I haven't made one card this week. I am so behind on my challenges. I have been working on the invitations to Jana's baby shower. Maybe tonight, but it is going to be 90 today! Stay cool!

Another Scrappy Card

This was the first card put together with only scraps. I had already colored the flower with Copics and had it hidden in all my scraps. It's Wacky Word Wednesday!

Nothing but Scraps

I made this card from scraps on my work table. I was about to bag up my scraps and give them to my friend Vicki, but along came a challenge to make a card from your scraps. This is one of my creations. Tomorrow I will show you another scrappy card. Happy Tuesday.

Guiding Light

I made this card using the Guiding Light Stamp Set from Gina K. I download and printed the weathered wood designer paper. I tied a sailor's knot with the brown cording. Happy Monday!

Tin Foil Technique

I made this card for the Stamptv Wednesday technique challenge: which was to emboss tin foil. I then chalked the foil with a pink ink pad. The flowers were made by the thumping technique, one of my favorites! TGIF

This is a card that I made for the Monday Stamptv color challenge, which was to use red, white and black. Stamp is from Gina K's Tropical Blossoms set. SU cardstock and dp. It looks like I might be rained out of golf tonight. So far, I have only made the Monday challenge on stamptv! Have a great Thursday!

Wacky Word Wednesday

It looks like we are in for a gorgeous sunny day. Cooper will be heading for the shade for sure! I posted a picture of Cooper in honor of Chewy, my friend Cheryl's dog, who was put down on Monday. I knew Chewy when she was a pup and share in this loss for my friend. I will cherish every moment that I enjoy with my Cooper Duper! Enjoy the sunshine and enjoy every moment!

Family Sunday

Anthony drove his car into our backyard for this photo op. I set my camera on the 10 second timer and jumped into the picture. We were celebrating Alexis birthday ( which is on May 4th, Monday ). Really nice family day.

First Corn of the Season

Last night we all enjoyed some corn on the cob (bought from the supermarket). Cooper enjoyed eating the stalks as Anthony shucked the corn on the back porch.

Flowery Friday

I got out all my toys for this card. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the edge of the card, Swiss dot cuttlebug folder for the white layer, and of course my nesties for all the layered shapes. I hope you have a good Friday. Rain in the forecast for the next three days!
