Basket of Flowers

Will we ever see the sun? Everything in my yard is green, especially the weeds! I made this card for the Stamptv layout challenge. It does have a lot of layers. I used a cuttlebug folder for the ivory cs. Cut out the squares and border with my nesties. I also paper pierced the border. Stay dry!

Wacky Word Wednesday

I made this card for a layout challenge for Stamptv. Today is the last Wednesday and last full day of school! I can't believe the end is near! Tonight is fifth grade recognition night! Stay dry on this wet wacky Wednesday.

Happy Anniversary Anthony

Today is our 24th anniversary. Thank you for making the coffee every morning! Love You! I made this card for our anniversary, but also for the Monday StampTV color challenge, which was to use aqua blue and bubble gum pink! It makes a great anniversary card too!

Chocolate Mint Muffins

I made this for a flavor challenge on stamptv. It was to create a tasty image using mint and chocolate. It actually looks mintier in person. Have a great start to your week! Do you think we will ever see a sunny day again???

A Simply Embossed Card

I made this card for the Wednesday technique challenge, which was to emboss a card with nestabilities and not cut it out.

Brown and blue

I made this card for the Monday color challenge on Stamp TV. You needed to use the colors brown and blue. I used the new Stampin Up Brown Suede cardstock ribbon and ink. The flowers are from the Eclectic Summer Stamp TV kit. I colored the flowers with my copic markers and added some brown corduroy buttons.

Rainy Thursday

Good morning. I am off to play in a major golf tournament in the rain! Oh well, I am bringing a lot of extra clothing to try and stay dry. I was so looking forward to playing at the Manchester Country Club, but was really hoping for a nice day. I made this card for the Monday color challenge which was inspired by a Vera Bradley bag in blue and brown. Hope you stay dry today! My lawn is looking gooooood!

Take Flight

This is a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 size card. Now I can make use of that box of square envelopes that I bought. The technique is polished stone using Memento ink refills in Dandelion and Tangelo. I also wanted to make use of the new Stampin Up In Colors. The paper is Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry. I stretched the paper through the new Modern Label punch to accomodate the saying: Let your dreams take flight...
Added a bit of Basic Grey bling. Hope your Wacky Wednesday is Wonderful!

Inspired by You

I made this card with the new Stampin Up 2010 stampin set: Autumn Days. I used the new In Colors: Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry. My Bermuda Bay ribbon has not yet arrived, so I had to substitute a ribbon that I had. Hope you can stay dry with all this rain. However, the grass is coming in our backyard!

Another Box of Tissues Ruined

Cooper looks on very innocently, but he was the cause of this mess in He got into a box of tissues and shredded them all over the bedroom!

A Very Big Thank You

I combined two challenges into one card. At first I wasn't crazy about making an "off" size card. This one measures 8 X 4. I combined the sketch challenge and the color challenge to use red chocolate and white. I will save this for someone I owe a big thanks to. Enjoy your Wacky Wednesday! Is it going to warm up today?

The Boat

Alexis and Jana chowin down at Cheryl's baby shower this past Sunday. I will have some new cards tomorrow. I started a couple last night, but was too tired after Cooper's doggy tricks class. He did very well and has some new tricks to add to his repertoire.

Welcome to Our House

Yikes, how will the UPS man deliver my packages? This is what our front door currently looks like. Roof is almost finished. It looks fabulous! It's Thursday. I might actually get to golf tonight.

Before Pictures

This is what the front of our house looks like this morning. Take a close look at the roof and you will see how the shingles are buckling. Hopefully, a good portion of the front will be done today, because it looks like rain is in the forecast for tomorrow. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Jump for Joy It's June

I can't believe it is already June. Mainly because it has been freezing here! I don't know where the time went on Sunday, but I never got out to golf between the wind and the rain, but I did get some errands accomplished! Here is a card that I made for the Wednesday technique challenge which is "paper piecing." That's right putting different pieces of paper together for a stamped image.
