Cup A Joe

Here is a pot of coffee to get your week going. Monday morning: it is a full week of school for me. I don't think we will have any snow days either. I used the "My Cup A Joe" stamp set to make this card for the stamptv sketch challenge. You can tell I am back to work. I only completed two challenges for last week. I colred the coffe pot and the mugs with my Copics. Ribbon is new from Making Memories. DP is from SU. Weather looks good until Friday!

Yeah! It's Friday! I will probably pass out tonight, but at least the first week of school is done! Here is a masculine birthday card, made for the color challenge. I used Gina K's "The Journey" stamp set.

Fall Leaves

I am back in school, so my thought have turned to fall, even though it is still hot and humid out. I made this card with my newly won Spellbinders Label 5 die. I stamped the leaves from Gina K's new Signs of Autumn stamptv kit anc colored them with various shades of orange for Cindy's color challenge, which was to use grey, orange and ivory!

Tippy Top Tuesday

Another version of the bird cage from the Elegant Post stamp set. I love the way this came out on the black background. Off to school to put name tags on about a thousand books. Tomorrow the kids come back, so if you don't see a post you will know why.

Monday Blues

Well it's back to work for a full week. Yikes! I made a few variations of this card for the stamptv challenges. This is for Gina's technique challenge to glitter your focal point. I actually got out my glue pad and glitter for this one. Have a great start to your week, I hope the humidity goes away before the kids show up on Wednesday.

CAS

Today I have a cute and simple card. I am working on taking better pictures and my lighting. Obviously, this is not an example of a good photo, but you can get the idea of the design of the card. Happy Sunday. Hope to golf today then it is a full week of work! Yikes. Where did the summer go?

Green apples

Sorry about the color on this card. I have to improve on taking photos and on lighting. The cardstock is a very nice sage green, but it looks grey. I made this for the stamptv color challenge: black, white and green. I love the picket fence border punch! It's Friday, off to a math workshop. I hope it is good. I hate sitting. Today Bleu comes to play with Cooper. We are dog sitting for two days. Can't wait!

Back to Work

I made this card for the stamptv technique challenge: glitter your focal point. I used Sakura stardust gel pens to color the leaves. Humidity is going down. Stay cool

The Party is Over!

Cooper says, "Oh no, don't leave me!" Come back to bed. Don't go to work." Sorry Cooper the party is over. I have to go back tomorrow. We have one more day together.

Green Dress

I made this card for the Stamptv color challenge: black, white and green. I used my new Nestabilities: Label Seven, ran the lime green bazzill paper through the cuttlebug dotted swiss folder. Colored the flower with my copic and added a black brad.

So grateful

Okay summer has finally arrived. It is 90 degrees and now I have to go back to work! Okay, I did have five weeks off, but it rained 4 3/4 of those weeks. In anticipation of fall, here is a pumpkin card. I am so grateful that we now have central air conditioning. Have a great start to your weekend!

Basket of Apples

I think I covered three StampTV challenges with this card: technique, color and sketch. I colored the basket of apples with my copic markers and a gold sharpie. I colored a cuttlebug folder and then embossed it. Happy Thursday.

Another Watercolor

Well the count down begins to back to work. I made this card for the watercolor spritz technique challenge. This is the new SU razzleberry textured cardstock. Have a great middle day of the week. I hope it doesn't storm, I'm supposed to go to the lake this afternoon.

I made this for the water color challenge on stamptv. I got out my gold embossing powder for the sentiment. Background paper is SEI.

Summertime Ice Cream

Again, I just had to use my MS loopy punch for fun! I colored and glittered the ice cream sundae from Gina K's 100% Sweet stamp set. It looks like this would be a good day to have an ice cream! Enjoy
