Favorite Summertime Memory

Growing up in an Italian family, grandparents, aunts and uncles lived together in a multi family dwelling. One of my fondest memories was my aunt's magnificent flower garden. Living in the city we actually had a very big yard and it was like the botanical gardens. My aunt would be up at the crack of dawn working in the garden. Then she would come in and cook me the most delicious breakfast, probably at noon because I was able to sleep in. Also, on Tuesday nights we could watch the fireworks in Coney Island from our front porch. These flowers, and bright colors bring me back to my aunt's gardens and to those fun fireworks!

Wishful Wednesday

Ribbon tape by Basic Grey as well. I added some black candy dots and WhaLA an elegant card in no time at all.

CCS Blog Hop

I am so excited to be part of the Creative Clear Stamps Design Team 4. I have been stamping and scrapping for about 8 years. This past year I have been more of a card makers, but that varies year to year. My craft room (see slide show below) is filled to the rafters. i just can't get enough. Please don't tell my husband. I love my big shot and Fiskar's paper cutter. This summer I am planning on spending mornings in my craft room as I will be on vacation from my teaching job. I love layering cards, but coloring with copics is my fav technique at the moment.
For my first post I am using the Hooked on Fishing stamp set. I stamped the images from this set with Memento London Fog. The buoys were stamped with Vivid Ink in Aqua. DP is Basic Grey Max & Whiskers. To top off the card or rather to bottom off the card I tied a nautical knot with some cording. Thank you for stopping by today.
