Card Sketch Patterns 83

Hi today I have a card for you using the newly released Broomstick Stella (415H) from DRS Designs. We are sponsoring the Card Patterns Sketch #83.

"By Invitation Only"
Is a new stamping contest
that's won before a
card is ever stamped!
But, as the name implies
you have to be invited to play.

How, you ask?? It's simple!

We all have stamping friends
that impress us with every card
they make. It's your job to
nominate them!! Email us the link
to their blog, website or gallery
and we'll check them out
and see if we agree with you!!

If we do, we'll invite them
to choose 1 to 3 unmounted
stamps from the online collection.
To complete the contest,
they will stamp a card using
the chosen designs, post it to
their blog or gallery and send
it to DRS Designs.

Once our invitation is accepted
they will receive a cool
blinkie for their blog and
they'll also be qualified for our
Sunday Stamper blog post on the DRS Designs Blog,
where we'll feature one
outstanding card every week!

So.....
spread the word....
search the blogs.....
and send your nominations to:

Gina K DesignTeam Challenge

What's your favorite fall memory?

Gina K asked us to create a project based on our favorite fall memory. One of the lucky participants will enjoy a prize package of Gina K. Designs stamps from their upcoming release and will be invited to join them on Center Stage to create projects for their preview party, release party and blog hops this month! The competition is great, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that she notices this card!
My favorite fall memory is taking a drive to the country with my dad. Growing up in New York City, a trip to the country was a special time. I was always in awe of the beautiful colors and I still appreciate the beauty of fall. Now, I can enjoy those colors right in my backyard as I now live in NH. A childhood memory that I can now relive every fall!
For the details of my card I used the tree in the forefront to highlight the changing leaves and dotted red, yellow, orange and green copics to capture the beauty of the landscape. I masked the tree scene and added the barn in the background. Stamps used were Theresa Momber's Farm Life and Nina Brackett's Fanciful Tags.
Thanks for stopping by and get out there and enjoy the landscape. It is awesome!
