Sweet Stamps Masculine Challenge


Today we have a Sweet Stamps Masculine Challenge running for one week.


Today I have this beautiful image from Jackie Hill: Horse Silhouette Oval from the Wildlife Collection.
I embossed the horse with copper embossing powder and cut him with Nellie's Multi Frame oval.
I stamped the sentiment: "Howdy" from this set and embossed that with copper as well.

Whatnot Monday

It is Whatnot Monday over at the Paper Pretties Blog.
We have a couple of new digi releases for you today.
For my card I used Garner and colored him with the copics pictured below.
I used the Labels 8 Spellbinders Nestability for my focal image.
Dp is Lime Twist.
I used a Martha Stewart border punch to get the grass border for the bottom of the card.

Cheery Lynn Butterfly Challenge




Cheery Lynn Designs is having a Butterfly Die Challenge.

They have released some amazing new dies and this card features a few of the new dies.

I have used two of the new butterfly dies:
the medium exotic butterfly and the small exotic butterflies.
The flowers were die cut with Judy's Blooms. The background shape is also a Cheery Lynn Die: French Flair. Here is the inside of my card:

Proud Catch

DRS Designs New Release
I just love this new stamp: 
Proud Catch Fisherman (765K) from DRS Designs.
I colored him and his "catch" with the copics pictured below and cut him out with a Wonky Rectangle Spellbinders die.
The sentiment is Fishing Rules (315K) stamped unto craft paper with brown ink.

Sweet Stamps Medallion

Today our Sweet Stamps challenge is to use one of the fabulous Medallion Stamps. Check out the selection at the Sweet Stamps Store.


For my card today I used the Five Sided Medallion (430J). I stamped it with white Dye ink onto Heavy weight vellum and embossed it with pearl embossing powder. I colored in part of the medallion with a Clear Spica Pen and did the outline border with a Silver Spica Pen. I placed my focal image unto black cs cut with a Cheery Lynn French Scalloped die (ST010) and layered that unto a white Cheery Lynn French Flair die that I had dry embossed with the 5 X 5 polka dot embossing folder.
For the inside of my card I used white cs (so you can easily write on it) cut with the Cheery Lynn French Flair die.
I also stamped the sentiment New Life

Mr. Fix-It



Today I used Flourishes Mix 'N Mugs to create this masculine card. I colored the tools with the copics pictured below.
I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Xpress It cardstock.
I airbrushed the background with Y23. I attached a little tag with the "Mr Fix It" saying. 
A perfect masculine card.

Spring

Today's challenge is "Cute Cuts"-
create squares/rectangles individually cut out with alphas on them to make up the sentiment on your card.
For my card I have used the spring wording square sentiment (669G) from DRS Designs. This stamp has "spring" spelled out.
I used the polka dot background (688P) stamp to create the bottom of my card and added a black border.
A pink and white ribbon completes the picture.

Happy Birthdday Sweet Stamps Challenge


It's Tuesday and time for another challenge over at the Sweet Stamps Blog. This week we are having a birthday challenge. You know you always need to have some birthday cards on hand so join in the fun!
For my card today I chose the beautiful Wild Rose Oval (7030). I stamped the Happy Birthday (9027) sentiment in the oval. I colored in the flowers with copics and then trimmed my image. I used the large oval die from Nellie's Multi Frame's .


I also stamped the inside of my card with the "Wondrous Things" (9066) sentiment. I then cut out the stamped image using the scalloped oval from Nellie's Multi Frame.

I have another card from Gina K Designs. This time I used the sentiment from Garden Silhouettes and the oval from Branching Out.
I used a Spellbinders oval and layered it onto a lacey oval.
Cardstock is Gina K's Key Lime.
Love love love that color.
Dp is Basic Grey Sweet Threads.

World Map

This month our challenge at One Crazy Stamper is to make masculine cards.
For today's post I used Flourishes Antique Map and stamped it with brown Memento ink onto craft cs. I then spritzed it with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Leather to create that Old World feel!
I daubed on some blue ink for areas of the ocean.
I cut out the compass rose and popped it up and added some glaze. I tied a sailor's knot with some twine and added the sentiment, "#1Dad," from Flourishes Mix 'N Mugs.
I stamped that unto a ribbon banner and daubed it with brown ink.
Now I have a perfect Father's Day Card.

Garden Silhouettes

I colored one of the flowers from the Gina K Designs Garden Silhouette stamp set with markers and stamped it onto white cardstock. I cut out my focal image with a Spellbinders Frame. DP is Basic Grey Sweet Threads. I added some peachy lacey ribbon and brass brads. Thanks for stopping by and I would love to hear your comments. Have a super weekend.

Gina K Challenge

I entered this card into the Gina K Design Challenge to use two designer papers on your card. I colored the wheel barrow from What's the Dirt from Gina K Designs with copics. Added some Rangers stickes in Mustard Seed to the center of the flowers. MS border punch. DP is My Minds Eye Lime Twist: Life of the Party. I added some lace ribbon along the bottom.

Butterfly Kisses

  

Today our challenge over at the Sweet Stamps Blog is butterflies.
So, I have a couple of butterfly stamps for you on this card.
My main image is the large Bold Butterfly (627), which I stamped onto the Scroll Shadow Box Frame (442). I colored it with orange and yellow copics and then went over the yellow with a Lemon Yellow Spica  and the orange with an Orange Spica glitter pen.
I added a couple of Small Bold Butterflies. I popped one up above the sentiment Butterfly Kisses (9110).
I daubed some yellow and orange ink to soften the white background.


Here is a close up of my glittery butterfly. It really shines in real life.

Masculine Theme

 It's a new month and a new challenge at One Crazy Stamper Blog.
This month our challenge is to make masculine cards. Ah Oh! I searched my stash and I do not have too many  guy stamps. My thought is to use masculine dp or colors. So here it is:
 This is the adorable Love in a Bucket from Whimsy Stamps. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Xpress It CS.
I colored the puppies with copics:
After I colored the puppies I took some colorless blender on a rough cloth and daubed the images to create the illusion of fur.
I cut out my focal image with a circle nestie.

Thinking of You

Happy Thursday!
Today I have a spring time card made with some new releases from DRS Designs!
First I stamped the Medium Daisy Bloom (668H) in yellow, lavendar and mint green and trimmed them.
I stamped the Silhouette Butterfly Background stamp (536H) on white cs as my background.
I stamped the vertical Thinking of You (690D) onto white cs and layered it onto lavendar cs.
Yellow ribbon and a green bow complete the card.

Olden Days

 This week our challenge over at the Sweet Stamps Blog Is Olden Days.

I chose to work with Genevieve (536G) and stamped her on white cs and colored her with copics. I then trimmed my focal image and placed it upon this dp from Memory Box: Valise. I added the sentiment: Just For You (9005B) across the top of my card and a little brown lace. I added a blue flower for an embellishment.
