DRS Designs Give Away


You have One more day to play in the DRS Designs Stamp a Day Giveaway. Our winner today gets Circle lily G437, which I have colored with copics and added some Stickles to the flower center. I made this as a 4 X 4 gift card. I cut out the focal image and placed it on a lacey circle nestie. Background is done with the Silhouette butterfly background stamp (536H) with Dazzling Versamark. I added a white crochet trim and bow.

You've Come A Long Way Baby

I made this card for the StampTV color challenge: pink, grey and ivory. The stamp is from Gina's Vintage Chic StampTV kit. I used a lattice rectangle nestie and popped up the focal image and sentiment with foam tape.

Sweet Stamps Sketch Challenge






Today I have used the gorgeous new Leigh's Floral Arrangement (3042) stamp from Jacqueline Hill's new Botanical collection for Sweet Stamps. I am in love with these stamps. It is sooo easy to make a fabulous card because the detailed stamps do all the work for you! I added Cinnamon stickles to the centers of the flowers. I colored my image with copics pictured below:

Then I cut out my focal image with a circle and placed that upon the new Cheery Lynn Japanese Lace and Flourish Frame (DL137). I used one of the Flourishes along the Cheery Lynn Border Carnivale (DL129) die. I distressed the edge with some brown ink.

Whatnot monday


Sadly, this is my last post on the Paper Pretties Digi Team.

I have enjoyed working with these adorable digi images, but I have so many "real" stamps that I want to play with.

So many stamps, too little time.

Today I have the Tooth Fairy for you.

I colored her with copics and airbrushed the background.

I used a deckled oval nestie to cut out my focal image.

The sentiment is from the newly released: Life is Good Cooper set.

Your Next Stamp

Today I have the adorable Birthday Bash Bear from Your Next Stamp paired with the Runaway Cake.
I cut the focal image with a rectangle nestie and circle punches.
I colored the images with the copics pictured below: I also added some Copic spicas:
I added some Ranger Distress stickles in Spun Sugar for the cake icing.

Boo Boo Bear

Today I have a CAS card for you using Boo Boo Bear (431G) from DRS Designs. Boo Boo is our Stamp a Day Give Away.
I stamped Boo Boo with Memento Brown ink unto craft cardstock. I cut him out and popped him up onto brown cardstock cut with a circle nestie.
I layered that unto a lacey circle of craft cardstock.
I added a beige gingham ribbon and bow.
Easy Peasy.

DRS Stamp a Day Give Away

For today's card I have used Daisy Basket (671L) and Medium Daisy (668H).
I stamped the basket with brown Memento ink onto white cardstock and onto brown cardstock. I then paper pieced the basket. I colored the flowers with the copics pictured below.
I stamped one medium daisy unto pumpkin spice cardstock and cut it out and used it as an embellishment. I also stamped the medium daisy repeatedly to create a background. I added pearl Deco to the centers of the flowers. The border was made with a SU border punch.

Today I have Watercan Florals (3040), a newly released image from Sweet Stamps. I cut out my focal image with a scallop oval from Nellie's Multi Frame Oval. I then layered that unto an oval cut with black cardstock. For embellishments I added Judy's Blooms flowers from Cheery Lynn. These are the copics used:

Flowers

Today our Give Away at DRS Designs is the Delicate Flower Background (K345) which I have stamped with Versamark on Hot Pink cardstock and clear embossed. I also used the Medium Daisy Bloom (668H) and stamped three separate images with hot pink dye ink: two on white and one on a light pink cardstock. I added pink floral gingham ribbon for a top and bottom border.
I added some pink Stickles to the centers of the flowers.

Sweet Stamps Challenge Embossing

This week our challenge over at Sweet Stamps is embossing: wet or dry.

I used an pollka dot embossing folder (EF3014) to create the texture on the blue oval and the background designer paper.

The stamp used in Billy Painting (549I).

I also used the open Happy Birthday sentiment (944) so I could color it with different colored copics.

I cut out the focal image with an oval from Nellie's multi Frames(013).

What Not Monday

It's a new digi release at Paper Pretties!

Today I have Frank.

I colored Frank with some copics and cut out my focal image.

I popped him up on some Key Lime cardstock that I dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and cut out with my new Nestabilities Fleur De Lis Square.
I thread a green ribbon through the square and tied a simple bow on top. I dded some glitter dots for embellishments. Thanks for stopping by today and check out the

Save the Drama

Today I have the adorable Frisky Florence (771K), a new release from DRS Designs. I colored her with copics and added the sentiment: Drama Mama Greeting (743D).

I stamped the background with the Medium Daisy Bloom (668H), which is the Give Away for today, with yellow ink on yellow cardstock. I then added some red stickles to the center of the flowers. I also added a mini flower to her hat!

Thinking of You Texture Challenge

Today's card was made for the Gina K StampTV texture challenge.
For this card I used the newly released set, Vogue Verses. I stamped the vase with Memento black ink and then applied Glossy Accent to add some depth.
My background was done with an embossing folder, wish they had the names on them.
I used direct paper to ink technique to add more depth to the texture of the background. Sentiment is layered unto an oval and then a Fancy Tag 2.
Focal images was cut with Spellbinders Label 4.

Sweet Stamps Wedding/Anniversary Challenge


Our challenge this week over at the Sweet Stamps Blog is to make an anniversary or wedding card. Well June is the wedding month.

However, I chose to make an anniversary card.

Very good friends will be celebrating their 40th this weekend!

I used the Entwined Roses (7077G) and stamped them with Versamark and then used Clear Embossing Powder on glossy white cardstock.

I then daubed over the image with yellow and green dye ink.

I also emossed the Happy Anniversary sentiment (977-CC) I used Nellie's multi frame oval die to cut out my focal image and I layered that onto two French Pastry Cheery Lynn doily dies. I dry embossed the background with the Daisy and Swirl folder.

Walking the Dog




I absolutely love the new Gina K Vintage Chic StampTV kit. So I am happy that I got to play with it a little bit.

I followed the sketch for the June Stetch for You to Try.

I stamped the lady walking her dog with Memento Black ink and cut the focal image with an oval nestie and layered that unto a scalloped nestie.

For today's card I used Beach Plate from Pink Cat Studio and colored the hanging clothes with copics. See picture.
I made a bow with my bow easy using some twine from Jillibean Soup.
I added some Kaisercraft pearls to the flowers on the bottom.
