and airbrushed the background.

Celebration Challenge Sweet Stamps


This week's challenge at Sweet Stamps is Celebration.

For today's card I went with the adorable penguins (3006-g) from Jacqueline Hill's Wildlife Collection.
I stamped the image unto pearly white card stock and cut out the focal image using Nellie's Multi Frame (008).

Victorine Originals Punch Challenge

Our challenge this week at the Victorine Originals Blog is to use punches!
For my card I used the adorable Snow Family from Victorine Originals. I stamped the focal image with dark blue ink and cut it out with a Spellbinders Label 6 die. I added the pearls to trim the die cut. 
I used a Martha Stewart snowman border punch.

Your Next Stamp and Die Set


It is so much fun to use.
First you make a template from the dies.
then you stamp your images.
Line up your template over your stamped images and trace the circles.
Now all you have to do is line up the die with the traced circles and you have perfectly cut images every time with the coordinating dies.

Flourishes Telescoping Challenge




Wow! What a fun card to make! I made this for the telescoping challenge at Flourishes. I used the Spellbinders Label 6 die to cut out three stamped images.
I used pop up dots to layer the images.
I dry embossed the white background.

Christmas Candle




 
Today I have a card using another free digi from Outlawz. 
I colored the candle with copics:YR24,YR21, R29, R22 and N8, N6 and N5 and airbrushed the background with W1. 
I cut out my focal image with a square nestie. 
DP is Kaisercraft. 
A gold ribbon and bow finish the card.

Sweet Stamps Recipe Challenge


This week we have a recipe challenge at the Sweet Stamps Blog: One ribbon or border, 2 dps, 3 embellishments.
For my card I used the Button Snowman (206G) and the Lace Tree (8006H).
I went for a monochromatic look. I stamped both images wtih Distress Clear embossing ink and then embossed using Pearl embossing powder onto Indigo Blue card stock. I neatly trimmed my images and placed them on dp cut with the Marianne Craftables (CR1202)die.
I added a ribbon and bow to the side, topped off with a coordinating brad.
I placed a pearl upon the tree top and some more bling down the ribbon.

Through the Window Polka Doodles Challenge



Hi everyone - Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

The year has flown by and for us here on the Polkadoodles blog we are taking a little well earned break for Christmas. We will be back again on 6th Jan with a brand new year year of challenges from our fabulous team and lots of very exciting news and new products! As a big thankyou to everyone for your support this year and because it's Christmas we are offering some great blog candy this week! For this adorable card I used the precolored image from Magical Winter CD. I added a window fram and added Ranger stickles to the corners for snow. Sentiment is also from Magical Winter CD.

Flourishes


Well, let the count down begin. I made this Christmas card for a good friend, who likes traditional red and green Christmas cards. I think this image from Flourishes is so sweet. I cut out the focal image with a Spellbinders Label 5 nestie. Sentiment was stamped in red and cut with a spellbinders ornament die. Easy Peasy.

Sweet Stamps Chipboard Challenge


Our challenge this week at the Sweet Stamps Blog is to use chipboard. Well, I had an entire stash of chipboard just waiting to be used. I stamped the gingerbread Duo (222) on some chipboard and trimmed them out. I paper piece their outfits with Authentique Wonder dp.
I stamped the Season's Greetings (982C) sentiment on some chipboard, covered it with the dp sanded and distressed the edges. I ran a green grosgrain ribbon through it.
I layered my stamped images onto dp cut with Cheery Lynn dies French Flair Stacking dies

Quick Christmas Card

Yes this adorable card was super easy to make! Why? All the elements were printed from the Polka Doodles Paper Boutique Creative Christmas CD. I used the pre colored penquin and cut him out and mounted him on designer paper also printed from that CD. Sentiment printed from that CD.

Today I have another card using the Snow Globe set from Flourishes. 
I love snow globes and this set is fabulous! 
I added Santa going down the chimney and the sentiment Joy is in the Air.
Santa scene was colored with copics.
I placed the sentiment into one of the Fancy tags dies by Spellbinders.

Sweet Stamps Christmas Bling Challenge


 

This week our challenge at Sweet Stamps is Christmas Bling.
For my card today I used the  Lace Tree (8006H) which I stamped on Wonder dp by Authentique.
I trimmed out the tree and added some Ranger stickles. Then I decorated the tree with Candi Dots.
I framed the tree with the new Cheery Lynn Japanese Garden Lace Oval die.
The Season's Greetings (982) tops off the card.

Free digi Outlawz

Another Free Digi from Outlawz! I colored this adorable stocking with copics. I dabbed that teddy with colorless blender to create a fur like look and added Ranger Pearls for the white of the stocking
I trimmed out my focal image and layered it unto a snowflake nestie.
Then I added some Kaiser pearls for embellies and a white trim to the top.
