Inky Impressions Inspiration

Today's post features a tutorial on coloring skin with copics:

1. First stamp image with Memento Tuxedo black ink

2. Using E000 I whitewash all my skin areas.

 3. I then outline with E00

 4. I go back and blend with my Eooo

5. Then I outline with E11

 6. I then blend all with E000 again.

7. I add R20 to the cheeks and lips.

Here is the finished card:

I went with a coffee theme from There She Goes. I mounted my coffee cup on a Spellbinders star circle. I added some coffe beans and stars which I applied glossy accents to.

St. Patrick's Day Challenge

Our challenge this week at Sweet Stamps is St. Patrick's Day.
I had to go with a lot of green for this challenge.
I used Sweet Stamps Tree #3 and thumped it with various green markers.
I cut out my focal image with Nellie's multi Frame oval and layered that unto  The Cheery Lynn Japanese Garden lace Oval. I also used the flourishes from that die.
I created the pearls with the lime green Viva Pearl Pen.

Outlawz Free Digi

Well it's back to work for me today.
It was nice having a week off.
I had a lot of stamping time, me time, time with my girls, time with Cooper and of course time with my grandson.
I also got to sleep in a few mornings. Also, played nine holes of golf, Woohoo, that was fun!
My card for today uses a free digi from Outlawz. It's a breath of spring and I hope spring is right around the corner.
I colored my card with copics and used some Kaisercraft DP. I used a spellbinders deckled oval to diecut my focal image.
I added Rangers stickles to add some bling to the roses.
Thanks for looking and have a great start to your week!

Cabin Fever Polka Doodles Challenge

Joni here and this week I am hosting the Polka Doodles Challenge: Cabin Fever!
Let's see your summery designs.
For my card I used the Fairy Flutterfly  Gracie stamp with "A Wish for You" Sentiment.
I printed out some bright pink summery paper from the Sugar Birdies CD.
Now hop on over to the Polka Doodles Blog for more inspiration and join in the fun!

Golfing in February

Our Challenge this month at One Crazy Stamper is Love.
Yes, and I love to be able to play golf in February in New England.
I played nine holes on Wednesday and it was fabulous to be out there swinging the golf club.
Love this new stamp from Art Impressions: Golden Oldies available at One Crazy Stamper.
I stamped my golfing lady with Memento Tuxedo black ink unto Xpress It cardstock. Then I colored this lady with the copics pictured below.

I created the grass with a Martha Stewart border punch. I added some pearls (let's pretend they're golf balls) for embellishments.

Color Me Creative Challenge

Today  I have a new La La Land stamp Outlaw Luka. I colored him with copics and used a spellbinders die to layer my image. I followed the sketch for Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I also used bright colors to enter Suzanne Dean's Color Me Creative Classroom site (lots of laughs and bright, fun colors).
