Victorine Originals Flower Challenge

For the next two weeks our challenge at Victorine Originals is Flowers.

For my card today I have used Vase 74752B 

with Floral arrangement (74751-D).

I colored the flowers with markers and stamped my image on top of the vase stamp.

Calla Lilly

Today I have a Kraftin Kimmie stamp: Calla Lily that I finally got inky! 

I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo black ink unto Xpress It cardstock. 

I cut her out with a Spellbinders die and layered her. Label was made with Spellbinder's Becky Fleck Labels & Tag Page map die. 

I paper pieced her dress with Basic Grey DP PB&J

Today I have a stamp from MFT: Mouse in the House.

 I paper pieced the chair and ottoman. 

I colored the little mouse with copics: C2, C3, C4, C6 and R02. 

I trimmed the focal image and popped it up with foam tape and layered it onto a circle die. 

I also used the MFT ric rac die. 

I added some brown pearls.

DP is MY Mind's Eye.

More Hair Colors Tutorial

Today I used the adorable Inky Impressions Lili's Cleaning Day stamp. I love this image. I am actually one of those people who enjoys cleaning and I love love love vacuuming! So today I have tried a different hair color combination.

1. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo blakc ink. Copics used are E50, E31, E33, E35 and E59.

2. First I used E50, the lightest color, for the areas that I wanted highlighted.

3. Next I used E59, the darkest color, for the crown and tips of hair.

4. I blended E35 over E59.

5. Next I added E33

6. Then E31

7. Then I blended E50, going over the darkest color and blended through.

 

8. I went back and added E59 and E35 again at the crown and ends of hair. Finally I blended E50 from dark to light to blend the hair.

Sweet Stamps Frame Challenge

Today I have the newly released Pixie Silhouette from Sweet Stamps.

 Our challenge this week is to use a frame. 

For my frame I have used The Cheery Lynn-Dutch Doily Rectangle Frame (DL130). 

After I stamped my image I daubed the background with grey ink. DP is Basic Grey Black Tie. 

I added a black silk ribbon and bow.

The Rainbow Will Come

Today I have this fabulous stamp from My Favorite Things called The Rainbow Will Come available from One Crazy Stamper.  

I stamped my image with Memento Black ink unto Xpress It Card stock. 

I paper pieced the umbrella and colored the raincoat and puddle with the copics pictured below:

I added Rangers Glossy Accents to the puddle.
