Dress Up Diva

Today I have Dress Up Diva from My Favorite Things available from Can You Dig It? I paper pieced her dress and hat, and colored her face, bag and shoes with copics
I made the rose with the mini royal rose die- namic.
The sentiment is stamped on a mini tab.
DP is My Mind's Eye On The Sunnyside.

Sweet Stamps Sketch Challenge

Our challenge this week at Sweet Stamps is a sketch challenge. Just follow the sketch below for a chance to win from Sweet Stamps.


For my card today I have the Day Lily (3030) which I colored with copics: Victorian Green, Pumpkin and Sunshine 
I added Stickles Cinnamon glitter glue to the center of the lily.
I used a Nellie Snellen Round Doily Multi frame die to cut out the circle around the day lily. I layered that onto a new Cheery Lynn Spring Flower Burst doily die and wing.
DP is Authentique: Blissful.
The rolled rose was a  Marianne Rosebud and Leaves die.

Victorine Originals Texture Challenge


Our challenge at Victorine Originals is Texture.
For my card today I used the Lighthouse stamp from Victorine Originals. 
I added a bit of color to the lighthouse with Ranger Distress Markers and copics.
I added texture to the swatch die cut and to the waves diecuts with an embossing folder.
I also added texture with the nautical ribbon.

Fore You

Played my first 18 hole tournament yesterday, walked all 18 holes Yippee! These new knees are great!
I love this Who's That Golfing Girl from My Favorite Things. I created this card for the Wednesday sketch.
I paper pieced the golfer with Basic Grey Black Tie DP. I used the Royal Rose die-namic for the flowers.

Time for the Pool

 I have an Art Impressions stamp today called Edna available from One Crazy Stamper
I stamped her with memento Tuxedo black ink unto Xpress It cardstock and colored her with the copics below:

 I paper pieced her bathing suit. I airbrushed the background and added yellow seam binding and pearls for embellishments. Die Cut is Spellbinders label 25.

Can You Dig It? For Love of Country Challenge


The challenge at Can You Dig it? is Love of Country. I used this adorable doggie Heart Ears Puppy and colored him with copics. DP is Authentique Glory. I used the Die Namics Squiggle Border to make the red and navy border.



Sweet Stamps Anything Goes Challenge

For this week's challenge I used the Dahlia (4019) stamp, a new release "From the Garden." I colored the Dahlia with Victorian Green copics and added some stickles glitter glue Frosted Lace to the center for glitter.  I cut out the image using Nellie 
Snellen's oval die. I layered that with Cheery lynn's Oval Doily Stacker One (DL183). I threaded lace through the oval frame. DP is First Edition Isabelle.

Sweet Stamps Favorite color Challenge

Our challenge this week at Sweet Stamps is "Favorite Color."



My favorite color is red. I love love love red. 
For my card I used a favorite new released stamp called Parisian Bouquet. 
I colored the stamp with markers and then stamped it. 
I also used a round die from Nellie Snellen 020 Flower Multi Frame Die to frame my image. 
I made a few red felt flowers for embellishments on a
 bit of lace for a border.
Sentiment is With Love (3041B).

Playing with red copics Tutorial


Today I am going to do a tutorial on deepening the shade of red.

 
1. First I stamped this adorable Nicholas'  Firefly Frenzy from Inky Impressions with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
2. I outlined his shirt with R29.
3. Next I went over the R29 with R27 and extended with R27.
4. I went over the R29 and R27 with R24.
5. I went over the outlined area of R29 with C3 to deepen the red.
6. Went back with my R29.

7. Blended over the entire shirt with my lightest red R24.

Welcome Home



 
Today's card features one of my new MFT stamps: Pure Innnocence Home Sweet Home.  I paper pieced her clothing with My Mind's Eye Nostalgia and popped her up on an oval 
Die-Namic.
I added some Royal Rose flowers made with cherry red felt I added a mini tab with the sentiment Welcome Home.
I followed the sketch below, but went oval instead of rectangular.

Inky Impressions Thank You Challenge


Our challenge this week at Inky Impressions is Thank You. 
You know you always need a thank you card. 
For today's card I have Nickie Running off to School
I paper pieced her pants and colored her with copics. 
I cut out the focal image with an oval die. 
I added the "Thank you" sentiment on top of
some buttercream twine from the Twinery along with an adorable Love charm
