Sweet Stamps Ornament

Our challenge at Sweet Stamps is to make an Ornament.

I have the adorable gingerbread boy from the Gingerbread Boy & Girl Large Duo (222J).

I paper pieced the outfit and used a Ranger Distress marker for the trim.

Red dots were made with the Viva Decor red Pearl pen.

For my card today I have a new Kraftin Kimmie stamp Lulu's Birthday.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink unto Xpress It card stock.

I paper pieced part of the image with Basic Grey Paper Cottage.

I also used the copics below to color the image.

I added some Ranger Spun Sugar stickles to the cupcake.

 I added some pearl bling and there you have it!

Today I have my card for last Wednesday's MFT sketch.

Surfer Dude colored with copics.

I used the MFT Sun Die-Namics for the Sun.

Hang Ten was cut using the MFT Fish Tail Die-Namics, love that die!

Sweet Stamp Flap Card Challenge

Today I have this adorable Gingerbread Girl part of the Gingerbread Duo from Sweet Stamps.

Our challenge this week at the Sweet Stamps Blog is to make a flap card. I followed the tutorial from splitcoaststampers.

I stamped the image using Memento Cocoa Brown ink on Authentique designer paper.

I paper pieced her dress and colored the trim with a red Distress marker.

I added the Season's Greetings sentiment (982) and distressed the edges with a Memento Bamboo Leaves ink pad.

Today I  have an Art Impression Stamp Norm available at One Crazy Stamper. I stamped Norm with Memento Tuxedo Black ink unto Xpress it card stock. I neatly trimmed the image and layered him on designer paper.

For today's card I have Beachbound Lili. I colored Lili with copics added a boat's wheel with a turtle charm.

Sweet Stamps Parchment Challenge

Our challenge  this week at Sweet Stamps is to create a Christmas card using the parchment technique.

I used the Oval Lace Frame (8018H) and the Season's Greetings sentiment (982).

I stamped the image with White dye ink unto heavy weight vellum.  I used the soft grip stylus tools on the embossing mat to outline my images. Then I used my four split perforating tool to cut it out.  Sweet Stamps carries all the tools to create this amazing technique.

 I also used the straight grid to give added dimension.

The roses were made with the Marianne's Creatables (LR0162) dies.

MFT August Guest Challenge

I made this card for the August Guest Designer Challenge at My Favorite Things. 

This is Pure Innocence Little Shutterbug. 

Isn't she adorable. 

I paper pieced her dress and colored her with copics. 

Then I cut her out and popped her up with some foam tape unto some Dear Lizzy paper die cut with the new Die-Namics Rounded Banner Stax.

 I followed the sketch below:

 

I added some pearls for embellishments along with lots and lots of layers.

MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge

Today I have Pure Innocence Surf Chick from MFT paper pieced with dp from Shoreline.

I followed the

I added some waves for the surf using the Die-Namics wave die.

Gossip Club

Today I have this humorous stamp from Art Impressions: Gossip Club. I just love these ladies drinking their tea? Perfect for our challenge this month at One Crazy Stamper which is BBQ or Food. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink unto Xpress It card stock. I colored the image with the copics pictured below:

Next I used a Spellbinders Label 17 die to cut out and layer my focal image. DP is October Afternoon 9 to 5.

Coloring White Tutorial

1. First I stamped my image with Memento Grey flannel ink. I wanted a slightly lighter shade than Tuxedo black.

2. I used C3 and outlined the edges of her gown.

3. I went over and extended the lines with C2.

4. I filled in with C0.

5. I went back and added some more C3 for contrast.

Here is the final card using Angelica the Bride from Inky Impressions. I also added some lace, some handmade rolled flowers and a bow for embellishments.

Kraftin Kimmie Design Team Call

Today I have this adorable Lulu stamp from Kraftin Kimmie. 
I love Lulu and her antics.
I colored her with copics and cut her out with a cirlcle nestie. Layered the circle with black card stock and then a yellow scalloped circle.
