Happy Spring

Well, we might be getting closer to springtime weather now. There is still a lot of snow around my house, but temps should be in the fifties.
I think I will get my sandals out.
I love this front porch scene from MFT.
I colored part of the scene with copics.
I used the Circle Stax dies to layer my focal image.
I followed the weekly sketch #117:

Wax Resist Technique

Or challenge of the month is the Wax Resist Technique at Sweet Stamps.
I actually used the  embossing folder wax resist technique for this card.
You can see the instructions here.
For this card. I ran glossy card stock with the Leaves embossing folder through my Big Shot.
I then placed the embossed paper between waxed paper and ironed it.
I rubbed the Sweet Stamp Aegean Shades dye ink over the embossed image.
Then I stamped the Curved Flowers (ATC1003)(new release) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I colored the image with copics and layered it on Nellie Snellen Multi Frame oval die cuts.
I added some aqua lace and pearls and then a sheer black ribbon and bow.
