I don't know why, but I love making Halloween themed cards.

 I just received this little PI cutie from MFT called Pretty Pumpkin.

I used a Blueprint die and followed the MFT Weekly Sketch 139.

I colored the hair and skin with copics and paper pieced the dress.

I have this adorable innertubegirl digi, cooling off on a hot summer day.

I made this card for my DD, Alexis.

Alexis lives about half an hour away, but works here in town.

Everyday she comes home for lunch and takes care of Cooper and Baxter.

Last week she watched my daughter, Jana's, two Boston Terriers.

Now she is going to watch Baxter and Cooper while my husband and I go to New York.

So thank you, Alexis for All that you do for your family and friends.

This week our challenge is Back to School at party Time tuesday.

 I actually paper pieced the school and colored the rest of the image with Ranger Distress Markers.

Back to School

So it is official: it is Back to School Time for me. 

I have received the "letters" from our administration detailing the opening day details. 

Where did the summer go?

 I always loved the first day of school; new outfit, new books, new teachers, etc. 

Therefore, I had to get this PI inky. 

I paper pieced her outfit and colored her hair and skin, bag and shoes with copics.

A Single Rose

Today I played with a new stamp set from Flourishes called Old Tea Rose.

I followed the color palette for the Flourishes challenge:

I used the Classic Hourglass Die and layered my sentiment.

I used the cut files for the tea rose and the butterfly.

Dare to Dream

Today I got the Dandelion Wishes stamp inky. 

I love this double stamp technique. 

It really adds dimension to the flower. 

I used Banana Split and Orange Fizz ink. 

The circle was made with the pierced circle die.

 Flower was made with Plentiful flowers.

Today I have a venture into chalkboard stamping. 

I stamped the sentiment from MFT's My Favorite Sentiments set unto a chalkboard label.

White on White Victorine Originals Challenge

Today I have this gorgeous sentiment stamp from Victorine Originals: (74683-E) Cherish Yesterday.

Our challenge this week is white on white with a pop of color.

I used an embossing folder to create my background.

 I then stamped the sentiment in blue ink for my pop of color. I added a white on white bow and butterfly pin.
