It is one year today, that we brought Cooper home from the breeder. My life has been changed by this cutie patootie. I have been watching him non stop hoping that his leg injury heals without surgery. We took him off the rimadyl because I was worried about side effects. Now we are just waiting and hoping that he continues to improve without the medicine. It has been truly nerve racking.

ReplyDeleteTwo weeks ago, an elderly overweight woman was visiting with Anthony. She bent over to give Cooper a belly rub, she lost her balance and fell on him. I have been a nervous wreck ever since! We have been to the vet twice. He was on rimadyl for 10 days, but then I read that dogs have died from it so now he is off any medication. Hoping it heals without the need for surgery.
