Happy Easter

Well it's hard to believe, but soon it will be Easter and tomorrow we are expecting another snowstorm! Last Easter it was so warm we had dinner on our screen porch. I guess this year we will be sitting with our down parkas! This is one of the new releases from DRS for Easter! it is "Easter Daffodil Oval" (663L). I colored the flowers with copics and cut out the focal image with an oval nestie, mounted that on a beaded oval nestie. I dry embossed the white cs. I added some sheer ribbon around the oval and there you have it! Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Easter

Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps is to make an Easter card. Easter is April 24th and I am hoping it gets a bit warmer by than. For my card today I inked up the Lambkins for Ewe (645F) stamp. Although I used a couple of copics to color in the flowers, I used  Liquid Pearls (white opal) and made swirls to imitate the wool on a lamb. I cut out my focal image with a circle punch and mounted it unto the French PastryDoily DIE (DL102) on lavendar cs. I stamped the Happy Easter sentiment (949C) also unto the lavendar cs. I added a lavendar silk bow and added some bling to the center.  A few more flowers complete the card.

Here is a close up of the adorable lambkins:

Retail Therapy

Since I do love shopping so much, I couldn't resist this stamp set from Kanban Stamps called Let's Go Shopping.
I colored the image with copics and did not use any dies. I actually had to resort to cutting my paper with my paper cutter, like in the old days. LOL!
This is a pretty big image so there was not too much room to play around with the layout.
DP is Jilly Bean Soup: Blossom Soup.
