YNS Super Friend


It's Super Hero Ellie, another new release from Your Next Stamp available at One Crazy Stamper!
I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo black ink unto Xpress It card stock. 
Then I colored my super hero with copics pictured below:


Then I cut her out and popped her up using foam tape
I added silver glitter to her belt and headband.
I also added a black and silver trim. I stamped the "...Super friend" sentiment and popped that up on the trim.

Can October be right around the corner?
Okay, then, you know what holidays are coming up, yes, Halloween.
DRS Designs has some pretty "spooky" new releases.

I stamped it with Versamark ink unto white glossy card stock. I embossed with white detail embossing powder.
Then I daubed yellow, orange, purple and navy ink across the card stock to make the white pop!
I also added the  small bat and moon (898C) embossed with black detail powder and popped it up over the sentiment.
I added a vampire punch and bat for embellishments.

I cut out the image using a Spellbinders die and layered it unto purple card stock.
The spooky eyes (647H) were done with white detail embossing powder on black card stock.
I added a purple ribbon, orange button with purple floss and finally mounted all onto orange card stock.

Sweet Stamps Criss Cross Card Challenge

This week we have a Criss Cross Card Challenge for you at Sweet Stamps Blog.
You have the chance to win a $20 shoppin spree at the Sweet Stamps Store.
This is an easy and fun type of card to make.
My finished card measures 6 X 6 and you need to start with a 12 x 12 piece of card stock. However, you can also adapt with an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock as well.
I did some paper piecing on this adorable snowlady from the Mr & Mrs. Snow Duo (207K). I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment (956D) in the lower right hand corner.


I dry embossed the white pull out insert with the snowflake embossing folder. To that I added the  Ornamental wreath and bow  dies from Cheery Lynn
Rhinestones embellish the card!

Halloween Cuties YNS New Release




Today I have another new release from Your Next Stamps.
For this card i stamped Creepy Crawly and Wicked Sweet with Memento Tuxedo black ink unto Xpress It card stock.  I paper pieced the clothing and colored the hair and faces with the copics below:

 The spider was cut from a punch and I added Ranger Stickles in black diamond. I distressed the white background with black ink. Spooky fence is also a punch.

Spooky Halloween

Today I have a new release from DRS Designs: Spooky Halloween Witch (901K).
I stamped the focal image with black ink and colored my witch with copics.
Background was done with the Eeeck background stamp (647H) on purple card stock.
I added a spider web punch and drippy goo punch for accents.

Sweet Stamps Anything But a Card Challenge

This week our challenge at the Sweet Stamps Blog is to make anything but a card. We would love to see your creations.

I decided to dress up this green gift bag.
These gorgeous stamps are part of the Botanicals Collection by the very talented jacqueline Hill.
I colored my stamped images with  the Harvest Gold YR21, YR23,YR24 copics and the Victorian Green G21, G24.
I added Cinnamon stickles to the daisy centers.
A gold bow finishes off the bag.

Friendship Easel Card

For the next two weeks our challenge over at the Victorine Originals Blog is to make an easel card. This was such a fun challenge for me. I have been wanting to make an easel card for the longest time and now i have. It was actually very easy to make.
I have used this adorable silhouette: Children Playing stamp from Victorine Originals. I also used the sentiment Friendship and empty label cutout. I added a black and white scalloped ribbon and bow and the bottom border is a Martha Stewart punch.

One Crazy Stamper YNS New Release



Today I have this fabulous new stamp Apple pie Cutie from Your Next Stamp's September Release. I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black ink unto Xpress It Card stock. I colored the image with the copics below:


I used the new Spellbinders label 23 to cut out and layer the focal image. Sentiment is also a YNS September release: Life is Great.
DP is Crate Paper Farmhouse.

Fall Bouquet

Today I have a sneak peak of a new release from DRS Designs: Harvest Bouquet
I had so much fun coloring this stamp with copics. I cut out my focal image with a Spellbinders die and layered it on alternating peach and cranberry card stock. 
I dry embossed my layers with an embossing folder. 
I added a looped ribbon and brad. There you have it.

Faux Stitching Sweet Stamps Challenge

This week we have a fun challenge for you over at the Sweet Stamps Blog: Faux Stitching.
You can win a $20 shopping spree at Sweet Stamps.
For my card I have stamped this adorable Stitched Button Snowman unto light blue cardstock. I colored in the scarf with red and green gel pens and did faux stitching around his body with a black gel pen. His hat was colored  with copics. I cut out my focal image with Nellie's Round Doily  Multi Frame  die and mounted that unto vellum cut with a Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily Die. The vellum border was cut with the Cheery Lynn Carnival Border die. The blue background was embossed with the snowflake embossing folder. I added some Sparkly Sweet Glitter with a Quickie Glue pen.

I have this adorable witch from YNS which I paper pieced with dp from My Mind's Eye Mischievious. I colored the witch's pot with copics and airbrushed the background.
I cut out the bubbling magical pot with Spellbinders Label 23.
I added an orange bow and a spider web border.

Navy Teal Mustard Color Challenge

This week it is a color challenge: Navy, Teal and Mustard.
I am using brand new releases from DRS Designs.
Autumn Square (922G) stamped in teal, squirrel  (934H)colored with copics.
I added a border punch and some navy brads. I stamped the background with the woven plaid stamp (613P) with navy and teal ink.

Sweet Stamps Lace Challenge

This week's challenge at Sweet Stamps is to use lace!
I love lace so I did love doing this challenge.
My focal stamp is from Jackie Hill's Botanicals collection called: Mum Bouquet
I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored the image with a few copics: G24, G28, G29, R89, R85, Y17, Y11.
I cut out my focal image with Nellie's Multi Frame Oval die (013) and layered it unto another oval.
I used the Daisy Flourish embossing folder on white cardstock and distressed it with copper ink.
I added a wide piece of lace across the top of my card, then folded over a piece of lace for the bottom.
I added a sheer bow with an rhinestone brad.

Victorine Originals Primary Colors Challenge

Our challenge for the next two weeks at
is primary colors.


 How easy is that? 

For today's card I have used this adorable image: Butterfly Chase (2510H).

I paper pieced the little girl's outfit an colored the rest of the image with copics.
I airbrushed the background to create some clouds.
I added a bright orange ribbon as a border across the top and placed an orange gingham bow with brad.
DP is Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety.

For this sketch challenge I have stamped this adorable image from Stamping Bella: Buds Boy by Mo Manning.
Sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio: Lulibell & Friends.
I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink unto Xpress It card stock.
I cut it out with a circle nestie and layered it.
DP is my Mind's Eye: Away We Go.
I colored the focal image with the copics pictured below.

Back to School


Today is my first official day back to work at school. Students arrive next Tuesday.
It has been a fabulous summer in spite of an earthquake and then a hurricane.
I thought it very fitting to use this stamp from a recently released collections from DRS Designs.
I stamped Teacher Tools (792G) with black ink and then colored the focal image with copics.
I cut out the image with a square nestie and layered it with the lacey square nestie.
The background was created using the amazing woven plaid stamp (613P). That is so much fun to use!
I used red ink vertically and then blue ink horizontally.
